My Trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth

I am a bit hesitant to admit it, but it is time that I face the truth. I am a Disney Adult. Over spring break, my parents, friend and I went to Disney.

While at the parks, we attended Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and made multiple trips to Disney Springs. We arrived in Florida on Sunday. After checking into the hotel, we spent the afternoon at the pool and the evening at Disney Springs, where we grabbed dinner and ice cream for dessert.

Monday was our first day in the parks, spent at Hollywood Studios. Because we stayed at a Disney-affiliated hotel, we got early entry and rope-dropped Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, followed by Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Our original plan was to rope drop Rise of the Resistance, but it was experiencing delays. We rode every attraction we wanted, and the longest line we waited was under an hour. We stopped at Olga’s Cantina for a Star Wars experience and had lunch at a quick-service restaurant. We left the parks around 3 p.m., rested at the hotel, had dinner, and then returned to Disney Springs.

Tuesday was at Animal Kingdom. We started the day in Avatar!
With fewer rides available and Dinosaur Land closed, we finished all open attractions by noon and ended the day with the new Zootopia 4D show, which I enjoyed! We also did the animal walk-throughs and safaris, where I got to grab photos of the animals. Dinner was at Story Book Dining at Artist Point, a Snow White-themed restaurant. We got photos with the characters and enjoyed the Snow White-themed food.

Wednesday was our last day, spent at Magical Kingdom. We rope-dropped Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Tron. Wait times at this park were longer compared to the other parks, but we still rode everything we wanted and got to see a parade! We concluded our night with dinner at Beast’s Castle.

Our flight home was not until Thursday evening, so we caught up on some sleep then walked over to Disney Springs for some lunch and shopping.

I love Disney for many reasons, but my favorite park about visiting the parks is seeing how happy people are. Countless little kids had the biggest smiles on their faces, and watching their excitement brought me so much joy! Disney truly is a magical place!

  3. Looks like it was a blast! I only went to Disney when I was too young to remember, but if I go again, I want it to be with someone with your outlook, with such a passion for the experience. Sounds like you got the most out of your break!
